OUR PEDAL POMISE
WITH our unique Glide Method COACHING and small class sizes, 90% of children WITH all abilities who attend OUR classES learn to confidently pedal without stabilisers IN ONE SINGLE, 2 HOUR CLASS.
We believe that with encouragement, confidence building and an environment of a safety and positive reinforcement, children of all abilities will become confident, happy, stabiliser free riders.
We offer free follow-up classes to those children who attend and participate in their first lesson but do not manage to get pedalling.
Empowering Children to Ride with Confidence
At our program, we believe every child can develop the skills to become a confident and independent cyclist. By providing a safe, encouraging environment paired with positive reinforcement, we help children of all abilities learn to ride without stabilizers.
Free Follow-Up Support for Progress
For children who attend their first lesson but don’t yet start pedalling independently, we offer free follow-up sessions to ensure they achieve success.
Glide ands your Child’s Cycling Journey
We are dedicated to teaching children to cycle independently. By the end of the course, your child will be able to start pedalling on their own, navigate turns with control, and come to a safe stop using the brakes.
How Our Program Works
Our course consists of a single two-hour session. Most children achieve independent cycling within this time. If additional support is needed, we provide extra sessions free of charge until your child is riding confidently.
Key Details:
• Follow-up classes build on your child’s progress from the initial session.
• Nearly all children gain confidence in 1-2 sessions, but we’re here to help as long as it takes.
• You only pay for the initial class; follow-ups are complimentary and limited to 3.
If a follow-up class is needed, our coach will provide a voucher code to use during the booking process for scheduling a future session. We reserve the right to adjust bookings as needed to accommodate class availability.
Our Commitment and Your Responsibility
To ensure your child’s success, we ask for your partnership in the following areas:
Full Attendance Is Essential
To qualify for follow-up sessions, your child must attend the entire scheduled class. Missing more than 15 minutes may affect their progress and eligibility for free follow-up sessions.
Age Guidelines: 4-12+ Years
Our program is tailored for children aged 4 and older. If your child is enrolled before their fourth birthday, we’ll do our best to support them. However, the follow-up sessions offered for children aged 4 and up will not apply.
If your child’s fourth birthday is close to the course date, we recommend waiting for a later session to maximize their experience.
Parental Involvement
Parents and carers are welcome to attend a brief introduction at the start of the first session, where we outline the course structure and expectations.
During the class, we may request that parents or carers step away temporarily to create an environment where children can focus and learn more effectively. In our experience, this approach helps children feel less distracted and more motivated by their peers.
Willingness to Participate
To ensure a positive experience, children must be ready to engage in the activity independently. If your child is not comfortable staying without a parent or carer or chooses not to participate, we cannot offer refunds or rescheduling.
Our instructors are experienced in supporting children who feel hesitant and work with care and patience to encourage their progress at a pace that suits them.
The Importance of Practice
Once your child has learned to ride, consistent practice in the days and weeks following the course is crucial for maintaining and strengthening their new skills.
Bike Selection Matters
A well-fitted and lightweight bike is essential for your child’s success. Many children’s bikes are heavy or poorly sized, which can hinder progress.
While we aim to help your child achieve independence during our course, if they lose confidence or ability due to a lack of practice, follow-up support will only be available if you contact us within one week of their last session. Additional sessions are offered at no charge during this time to rebuild their confidence.
Our priority is to ensure that learning to ride is an enjoyable, positive experience that empowers your child for years to come.
