Glide Bike Classes for kids courses doesn't require that parents/guardians are present at all times but they must be present at the venue.
Please ensure that your child has suitable footwear and clothing for cycling.
It is compulsory for all children to have a fitted cycling helmet to participate in the course.
It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure that their pedal bike is of suitable size and safe to use.
Places on the class will be secured via full payment only.
If you cancel two weeks before the course date, payment will be refunded.
If it’s not within 14 days prior to the class date, there will be no refund. However, an alternative class will be arranged.
If we have to cancel a session, only an alternative venue and dates will be offered to compensate. No refund will be given. Classes can be cancelled up to 48 hours.
If children turn up without a bike to ride then they cannot participate in class and no refund will be given.
If a class is cancelled due to bad weather then it will be rescheduled at the earliest date and no refund given.
We ask on the booking form if you are okay with us taking pictures of the classes for promotional purposes. By checking the box your are consenting to pictures of your child being used as part of Glide Bike Classes LTD promotional material that will be shared across our social media channels including Facebook and Instagram.
You provide full permission for the Instructor to make minor adjustments to your child’s bike during the training sessions, to assist with their comfort when riding.
In order for our coaches to successfully teach they will be required to physically support and guide children in order to correct balance, assist movement and ensure safety. We do this by placing a hand on the back, shoulders, torso and feet.
Parent participation is not required during the class, however we undersatand that what is happening during the class is a special and valuable moment and coaches will not discourage participation by the parent/carer. If participation is undertaken then the coach is not responsible for any dissapointment or dissatisfaction in the time he/she spent with individual children and no refunds will be issued on this basis.
During the class there is no set time in which the caoch will spend with each individual child. All childrens abilities to learn and be physically able to do what is required to achieve pedalling without stabilisers is different so therefore each child will require varied amounts of attention from the coach. At the beginning of each class the coach will explain this to all parents/carers so that it's understood.
We accept no liability from children using their own pedal bikes.
We award levels 1, 1-2 or 2 at the end of each class. A level 2 Ability is where the child can start, stop and pedal unassisted. Children are awarded certificates on this basis. If a child is awarded a level 1 or 1-2, then they may require another class to improve.
By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions you are abiding by the terms set out in our PEDAL PROMISE.
We will provide FREE follow up classes to be as convenient to the customer to the best of our ability. There is no refund if attendance to the FREE follow up class is not possible due to the parent/carers unavaialbility and inability to attend the class.
